The Planning Application for the highly controversial 100 high density flats has been withdrawn. After more than two years of continuous wrangling the developer Active Urban has withdrawn their application from the table.

This would suggest the developer has come unstuck and there have been suggestions made that the crucial ‘Affordable Housing’ element would not be secured resulting in a a refusal by Suffolk Coastal District Council to give final approval.
